I am having a little giveaway! These mini playsilks come from Dharma Trading Company and have been dyed with various colors of kool aid. I had gotten a package of the 11 x 11" silk handkerchiefs and found that 12 mini playsilks is really more than what we needed.
I would love to pass these on to a reader. There are six as shown, handkerchief size.
In our home they have been used a lot for "easter basket" play. I plan to use them instead of the colored plastic grass in my daughter's easter baskets too (that grass stuff is so messy). Leave a comment and I will have a random drawing, a very low tech random drawing, to choose the winner Sunday afternoon!
Hmmm...what are the odds of "1" being the chosen number?
ReplyDeleteThose are a great idea for Easter baskets! I just wrote a post about the living Easter baskets my kids and I made. I also dislike the plastic grass. Mini playsilks will be a pretty and soft alternative.
ReplyDeleteThose are beautiful. And yes, Easter grass is messy! I put it in this months sensory tub..EEK! I think silk scarves would look much better in Easter baskets anyways. Pick me! :)

ReplyDeleteYeah! I love your blog. I'm so happy you're having a giveaway! I have always wanted to try dyeing my own silks. I have a few of the larger silks from Sarah's silks and they didn't seem to last too long with my kids daily use of them. I definitely need to get more. These little silks would definitely be a great start. I think putting them in Easter baskets is a great idea too.
